When you purchase this package, you get access to anything I release to my Patreon supporters this month. This is Itch.io package is essentially just an alternative to Patreon, for people who would rather buy month-to-month instead of signing up for Patreon pledges.
Yeah, as in whatever is the available to them that month with be updated here as a package.
He has two option: Pledge monthly and get every update, or pay once and get whatever the latest update package is for those that can't afford monthly payments or just don't like subscriptions. If the website was capable of giving you content after the initial payment and not for one time purchases, then having an alternative pointless. More importantly, I don't think icho.io is made for that, since its a game store and not a subscription service. If your theory was truly the case, he would have included the data for both games in the package.
Very certain that whatever was there at the time is what you get, no matter when you get it. If just so happens you buy something and a update comes out a few days later, then that's too bad You bought for the month you bought it.
You said yourself you bought the November package. So you get what is in November's package. Doesn't matter that your purchase was in December. You bought was out at the time, the most recent build, which when you bought was apparently the November package. You don't get two for the price of one. You bought the November package, not the December package. Just because the November package was out throughout December, doesn't mean it is now the December Package.
Just like he says, literally right above the quote you brought up: "This page exists so that those people can still manually snag a copy of the latest demos so they don't miss out!" This goes by latest demo releases, which he aims to release monthly. If it truly was going by month, it probably wouldn't have let you buy the November package in December...but that isn't how itch.io works. He would have had to take down the November package so it couldn't be bought anymore. That, however, would be unfair to buyers that want to buy the most recent builds at the time.
I know it sucks that if you waited just a bit longer, you could have gotten teh December package, but you get what you get ^^; You might feel ripped off because you feel entitled to the December package because you bought in December but he released it late and not on the 1st of December. Unfortunately, coding isn't as easy that he can post on the 1st of each month. It doesn't change the fact that the November pack was made in November, and was out until December because he hadn't finished the December package yet. It doesn't change the fact that you bought the November package in December, before he released the December package.

The Windows builds for Rack1 and Midnight Fireworks aren't in the package, only the android builds and the source code folders. :c

Patreon: Support the game on a monthly basis, and get every new dev build as soon as it becomes available.
Itch.io: Make a one-time contribution, and get the most recent dev build.
On itch.io, you pay for what was the most recent at the time, not for every update. You want that, gotta support his Patreon.

In my opinion it says otherwise :p
